Rocky Coast Rentals is a family-led, boutique vacation rental and property management company inspired by the Maine Coast.

Founded on integrity, warmth, and a deep commitment to the homes entrusted to us, we combine refined hospitality with hands-on care. As both hosts and homeowners ourselves, we understand that exceptional stays—and successful properties—are built through trust, thoughtful stewardship, and genuine connection.

2011: A Foundation in Hospitality

Lindsey was living and working in Lake Tahoe, immersed in a hospitality-driven environment that emphasized elevated guest experiences, attention to detail, and a strong sense of place—principles that continue to guide Rocky Coast Rentals today.

2013: Returning Home with Purpose

After meeting her future husband Chris, Lindsey returned to Maine. Balancing a career as a public school teacher she missed the position she left in Tahoe. Coastal Getaways soon became her passion project as she started managing homes and guests for local friends. From the beginning, the focus was thoughtful hosting—homes cared for with integrity and guests welcomed with genuine warmth.

2015: Family Shapes the Vision

As Lindsey began her family, the business evolved with a deeper understanding of what truly matters in a home—comfort, trust, and the sense of belonging that turns a stay into a lasting memory.

2016: Experience Meets Family

Sally relocated from Vermont to Maine to be closer to her grandchild, bringing with her a background in hospitality and project development. Her experience managing complex projects, stewarding resources, and creating people-centered systems added depth and structure to the growing business.

2017: A Thoughtful Rebrand

Sally formally joined Coastal Getaways, pairing her operational expertise with Lindsey’s hospitality vision. Together, they reimagined the brand as Rocky Coast Rentals, reflecting a refined approach to coastal hospitality grounded in trust, care, communication and long-term planning.

2019: A Partnership Built on Trust

Rocky Coast Rentals officially launched with Lindsey and Sally as partners, offering homeowners a boutique, hands-on approach to vacation rental management — designed for those seeking a more personal, relationship driven experience.

2023: Expanding With Intention

In response to homeowner demand, Rocky Coast Rentals expanded into full-service property management, providing elevated care for homes and a seamless, hospitality-driven experience for guests—without sacrificing personal attention.

2024: Growth, Carefully Curated

Our portfolio continued to grow thoughtfully, guided by a deliberate philosophy: exceptional standards, selective expansion, and unwavering care for every home entrusted to us.

I created Rocky Coast Rentals with a passion for travel and a deep appreciation for thoughtful hospitality. My journey started in North Lake Tahoe where I learned how to manage luxury accommodations with a focus on guest experience and operational excellence. When my family and I moved to the Mid Coast region, I felt inspired to build a business that reflects the charm and care of this place. At Rocky Coast Rentals, I curate each home with intention and love sharing local favorites with guests. My happiest moments are spent exploring the outdoors with my husband, our three sons, and our energetic black lab.

Sally Ingraham, Bringing Heart to Coastal Hospitality

My path through hospitality began in Vermont where I worked as an Assistant Innkeeper while earning a degree in Business Management. I later opened a bistro style pizzeria that became a beloved local spot and strengthened my passion for community and service. My career expanded into nonprofit program development which taught me the power of meaningful impact. Moving to the Mid Coast region brought me closer to family and opened the door to join Lindsay in shaping Rocky Coast Rentals. I spend free moments tending my gardens, enjoying time with my dogs, and finding new adventures with friends. Every part of my journey guides the care I share with guests and homeowners.
